Join Us For This Transformative Campaign at St. Colette!

Our parish is blessed to take part in Called to Flourish: Our Church for the Future, a diocesan-wide effort to strengthen every parish and ministry across the Diocese of Cleveland. This campaign invites us to renew our commitment to the mission Christ has entrusted to us — to grow in faith, serve others with joy, and build a Church that will flourish for generations to come.

By participating in Called to Flourish, our parish shares in a collective effort, so that together we can build a more joyful, welcoming, and spiritually alive Church for all.

Diocesan Projects: This prayerful effort seeks to raise $200 million to support four strategic priorities:

  • Parishes

    • Sustaining parish communities, the epicenter of our faith.

  • Worship

    • Caring for the sacred spaces and individuals within our ministry.

  • Evangelization

    • Strengthening Catholic education and inspiring hearts to grow in faith.

  • Service

    • Continuing the mission of Jesus by responding to those in need.

To continue growing as a vibrant, Christ-centered community, our parish is launching several key initiatives as a part of the Called to Flourish: Our Church for the Future campaign. Through this effort, St. Colette will raise $1,165,000. Until we reach our goal, our parish will receive 50 cents of every dollar raised. Once we reach our goal, our parish will receive 80 cents of every dollar raised, allowing us to pursue the following parish priorities:

  • Investing in Infrastructure for a Thriving Parish

    • Parking Lot – 75 spaces will be added

    • Parish Offices – Reconfigure rooms and consolidate staff offices

    • Rectory – Reimagined to house a retired priest and/or seminarian

    • Boiler – Necessary updates; originally installed in the 1970s

  • Growing in Faith and Outreach

    • Deepening our evangelization efforts through guest speakers, outreach events, and expanded faith formation programs.

  • Building a Legacy

    • Investing in our Parish Endowment Fund to ensure long-term financial stability for St. Colette

How Do I Participate?

Every household is invited to take part in the Called to Flourish campaign by prayerfully considering a meaningful pledge. Because pledges can be fulfilled over five years, many families find they are able to make a greater impact than with a one‑time gift.

You have the flexibility to choose the schedule and method that works best for you—monthly, quarterly, or annually. Every gift, no matter the size, moves our parish closer to reaching our goal and supporting the mission we share.

Your personal invitation to participate will arrive by mail. After you’ve taken time to discern your commitment, you can return your pledge card to the Parish Office or make your gift conveniently online here.

Other Ways to Give

Legacy Gifts

Bequest in a Will or Trust: A bequest is a straightforward way to create a legacy of faith. With your attorney’s help, you may designate a specific amount, asset, or percentage of your estate to St. Colette Parish.

Beneficiary Designation: You can name St. Colette as a beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k), or life insurance policy. This is an easy way to make a significant gift without affecting your current finances.

Payable on Death (POD) Accounts: A POD designation on a bank account or certificate of deposit allows assets to transfer directly to the Church, bypassing probate.

Gift of Real Estate: Some donors wish to include real estate in their charitable plans. We encourage you to instruct your executor or trustee to sell the property and gift the proceeds to the Church, simplifying the process while creating lasting impact.

Start a Named Fund: With a minimum of $10,000, you can establish a named fund to benefit your parish or another ministry—passing on your faith and values to future generations.
